I'm buying one unit — do I need a second one for my pillion to hear me? +

Yes, both rider and pillion need their own Q8 unit. This listing is for 1 unit only — each unit goes on one helmet. If you're riding with a pillion or a friend, you'll need 2 units. We also sell a 2-unit combo on the store which saves you money vs buying two separately.

All 6 riders have Q8 units — can everyone talk at the same time, or take turns? +

With Q8's Mesh 3.0, all 6 riders speak and are heard simultaneously — nobody waits. This is the key difference from the V6 Pro Plus which is 2-way only. Just make sure all units are on the same channel number, or nobody will hear each other.

The mic picks up wind and exhaust noise constantly — how do I fix this? +

The Q8 has 5 levels of microphone sensitivity — default is Level 3. If you have a loud exhaust or ride at 80+ km/h, drop it to Level 1 or 2 via the EJEAS app or button combo. Also make sure the mic boom is tucked snugly inside the cheek pad — loose placement makes wind noise significantly worse.
